The government committee established by the government of Palestine had the aim of locating and investigating the crimes of the Israeli nation against the Palestinian nation. The committee broadcast was simultaneously translated into 3 languages: English, Arabic and Hebrew, and was broadcast, live, and continuously by the television and radio networks. At first these broadcasts evoked enormous curiosity around the world, and just like the Reconciliation Committees, which were held in South Africa when the blacks rose to power, thus also, these committees became the "best show in town". Thousands of Palestinians took the witness stand during the months of the committee's work. On stage, the Palestinians revealed their wounds, their stumps and their diseases. The Israelis were blamed for all, especially the Israeli Army. Old women told of Israeli soldiers who beat them, Palestinian girls took the stand with teary eyes, and condemned the Israeli soldiers for brutally raping them, young men, maimed, took the stands and told of physical and mental torture, old men told of severe violence and dispossession. It seemed that it had become the national pastime for the Palestinians or more accurately, their national sport. From time to time, Israeli citizens took the stand, "confessing" the terrible sins that they committed against the Palestinian people. During that entire period of time, Hebrew-speaking Palestinian intelligence officers mingled with the Jewish population that survived, in an attempt to locate and catch ex-IDF soldiers. The unfortunate ones who were caught, were jailed in prisons in the south, in the "Ansar" camps. The Palestinians decided to leave the name "Ansar" in memory of the days in which the Israelis would jail the Palestinians in these camps. Thousands of IDF soldiers were imprisoned in these camps under dreadful physical conditions, on the brink of death by starvation, subject to hard physical labor and torture. Jews across the world pressured the United States President to enable the Red Cross to gain access to these camps and investigate the goings on there, while at the same time hold an exact record of these prisoners of war/prisoners. The State of Palestine began continued and prolonged negotiations with the Red Cross. It seemed as though they would never reach an agreement as to the involvement of the Red Cross in the goings on in the Palestinian death camps. There was nobody to fight their fight. It did not seem as though they would ever be liberated and they withered in jail. Some went mad, many became sick and died, but there were more than a few who broke down and agreed to come and testify as to their crimes at the showcase trials, as part of the atrocious Palestinian propaganda. Once every few weeks, a new trial would begin for a group of former IDF soldiers, who were captured by the Palestinian authorities. There, at the Palestinian court, the IDF soldiers were held in cages, signs of terrible torture still showing on their faces and bodies, and were sentenced with the mercy of the court to long periods of imprisonment with hard labor, for 20, and even 30 years. Many officers were even sentenced to death and were shot in the courtyard in a special place designed for that express purpose. There were always Palestinian witnesses to be found, who swore on the witness stand that they made a positive and definite identification of the defendants who committed crimes and sinned against the Palestinian nation. The spokesman for the American Justice Department sent an official protest to the government of Palestine to stop with the staged showcase trials, but nothing changed. The Palestinians were provided with 3 hours of entertainment each day, and an entire generation of Palestinian children greedily lapped up the re-written history. That's all folks |
